Trattoria Tofta AB

Fantastic personal and truly Italian, the food is 100% Italian and is excellent, with their Matriciana is like they did bring me in my Rome, so really thanks Trattorian Tofta... I really advice for everyone go to this restaurant if you wanna try the true original Italian food!

The waiter argued with us and is very rude and didn’t let us sit on the couch because he wanted other guests to sit there even tho we were basically the only ones here. However, we got free snacks and the pizza looked and tasted good.

Despite changing owners repeatedly, the time it takes to get your food and/or drinks is always absurdly long, no matter how busy it is or the time of day. The last owner I spoke to (August, 21) was friendly and seemed to want to improve this restaurant as a whole, but it still took him nearly 20 minutes to make me an Aperol spritz. Will have to make one last stop here next time I visit Tofta, just to see if things are the same.

Nice ambience, but the food has nothing with Italian cuisine, very expensive

After 20 minutes of waiting they tell us that they don’t have all the ingredients so they could not make my pizza. Then they refused to refund our order, telling us it that it was not possible. 1 hour later we finally got the manager to refund us the order.

Not worth going. The pasta was ok. The description did not match the food, I got the carbonara and it has like a bunch of ingredients in the description, including ox meat. It was just bacon,nothing fancy
The risotto was horrible. Not edible.

The staff were very nice tho.

I am not sure how to respond to the owner response. First, you are correct. I was wrong... Not ox meat. Cured Pork Cheek.

Second, I have had many risottos. And it was still very unimpressive. I am sorry.

But again. Staff were lovely!

This place is a scam! We ordered the Petto Di Pollo (chicken) and this is what we had for 225 Skr. A bloody joke! A chicken leg or beast or what ever that is supposed to be (dry as timber) and a few veggies for that price?! Also ordered a Capriciosa pizza. Asked if I could have prawns on it (offering to pay an extra fee of course). They could not as this is a "proper Italian pizza place" and you do not put prawns on pizzas there. Fair enough, but when I then looked at the oven it was a basic electrical one. So much for that proper Italian pizza! I asked if I could have it sliced as it was take away. Of course it was not sliced when I came home.

When we had ordered, we were asked to sit outside and wait. Which we did. For 40 min or so and then walked in and asked how our food is going. It was standing there ready on the bench without anyone telling us. Obviously it was ice cold after our short transport home. And no, the pizza weren't even good. I've traveled and lived all over the world and had many, many proper Italian pizzas. THIS IS NOT! IT'S A JOKE!
