Near the hard of the Aspen National Park love and work a Dutch pair that run this café, bar and B&B. The location is ideal for a short stop, overnight rest or even the startpoint for a bicycle or kajak tour.
We rented two kajaks here and toured the beautiful like near this place. The tour brought us trough tranquil and hidden spots and lush water lily’s.

We arrived a little late and famished after a hike in Åsnen national park, though the place was going to close they prepared for us the dish of the day (Fish and Chips) and it was one of the best fishes I've had in the latest years! Fries were amazing, salad as well. Excellent service and super friendly! We ordered cappuccino coffees and were also delicious (original Italian I think, espresso machine). The place is lovely and perfect placed beside the lake. Parking across the street. Even with a rainshower while eating, it was awesome! We'll be back for sure! ❤️

Beautiful café right at the Åsnen lake with incredibly friendly owners & staff! Lots of cosy seating space (inside & outside) and delicous cakes, coffee etc.
Lots of parking spaces and a great place to start a bike tour along the lake (e.g. towards Trollberget, 10km)...Bikes can also be rented at the Café.

Best carrot cake we ever had:-) Visit kultur cafe.
