Djursholms Bookstore

Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience in the store. I received a book as a Christmas present but I already had it. I had to exchange the book for another one because there was no open purchase in the store (but unfortunately that is too bad when all other stores offer at least a week of open purchase. Especially at Christmas). The clerk examined the book very carefully and then found a microscopic drop of water on one edge of the book. It was raining outside. I had the book wrapped in a plastic bag, in my bag. The “drop” must have gotten there when I took the book out at the counter. Because of the microscopic drop, I was still refused to EXCHANGE the book. It was impossible to sell according to the clerk. I explained that the drop must have gotten there right now and that I had difficulty seeing it. However, she stood her ground and became unpleasant. I took my book and left in a rage. Never again in Djursholm's bookstore.

Really nice store with a good selection.

An independent bookstore with knowledgeable and friendly staff who guide you to new experiences in the enormous galaxy of literature. A wide but personal selection of titles, many with their own reviews. If a book is missing, it is quickly ordered.

A wonderfully charming little bookstore with a nice selection and very competent bookseller. They also wrap the packages nicely which is a plus.

Great atmosphere! If love books definitely you're gonna appreciate it this place. Wide options in different kind of books even in English. Small but cosy!
