The food is amazing. I've choosen the classic - beef meatballs. They're absolutely worth it, the best ones i've ever eaten basically. Those sides and the mash were spot-on. The place itself gives really friendly, warm vibes. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Even if you'll have to wait in a long queue - it's absolutely worth it - trust me.

It offers a cozy dining experience with authentic Swedish flavors. The Indian staff member was very friendly and helped us patiently manage the waitlist, as seating is limited and we waited about 40 minutes to be seated. They serve beef Swedish meatballs made without pork, which was perfect for my dietary needs. Despite the wait, the warm atmosphere and attentive service made it worthwhile. It’s a great spot for traditional dishes if you don’t mind a bit of a wait due to the intimate setting.

Me and my boyfriend found this place by chance, and decided to try some Swedish traditional food here. Best choice ever! Everyone was lovely and the food seriously amazing. I would really recommend to come here and try their kitchen

Such a cute little restaurant in the middle of old town. They don't take reservations so we did have to wait outside about 15-20 minutes during prime dinner time. It's very cozy and homey inside, great for a date night or dinner with a few friends. My husband and I ordered a bottle of wine and shared the reindeer fillet mixed salad which was so good. It was light and refreshing and not gamey at all. For entrees we both ordered the Swedish meatballs which were delicious. Glad I didn't have to share my plate! We were stuffed afterwards so didn't try dessert. I would definitely come back here again next time I'm in town!

En mycket mysig restaurang med ett varmt och vänligt bemötande. Upplevelsen var väldigt trevlig och något jag gärna skulle upprepa. Eftersom vårt boende låg i närheten gick vi dit och hade turen att få ett bord direkt, eftersom restaurangen endast tar emot drop-in. Maten var bra, även om vi under de följande dagarna hittade liknande rätter som smakade ännu bättre, men som vår första upplevelse var det ändå positivt. Restaurangen är mycket populär, så det är bäst att komma tidigt eftersom platserna är begränsade. Sammanfattningsvis en bra och minnesvärd upplevelse.

We visited Stockholms Gästabud for dinner, warm and cozy atmosphere, great service, and truly delicious food. We ordered their traditional Swedish meatballs (köttbullar), a gratin-style dish, and a sausage (korv) from the menu classic, hearty, and full of flavor. For dessert, we had a panna cotta with raspberries, which was the perfect sweet finish. Everything was excellent. Thank you to the team for a wonderful evening!

This place is totally worth it for the money even though it's on the pricier end. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The lemon sauce they had was a good compliment but the potatoes could have been better seasoned. The pork cheeks were my favorite. The meat was very soft and tender. The sauce they used was like a nice teriyaki glaze but was also sweet because of the berries. I enjoyed the mix of flavors here. The garlic mashed potatoes were well mashed and light.

Tiny yet right sized spot to enjoy a cozy meal on the edge of the touristy area of Gamla Stan. Service was sweet and kind and patient with the tired Americans looking to fill their "actual Swedish meatball" bucket. As with other pictures here in reviews, the plates are beautiful and the food matches. Possibly the best potatoes we've ever eaten, and definitely worth the calorie count to consume the entire plate.
