We had our wedding at Wärds in the summer of 2024, and we couldn't be happier! First of all, the location of Hotel Wärds, right in the heart of Mollösund, is absolutely stunning. Being in the Bohuslän archipelago is truly special. The scenery and the charming, picturesque village of Mollösund are wonderful. The close proximity of the church to Wärds was incredibly convenient as well.
What really stood out was the personal touch and exceptional service we received from the entire staff at Wärds, especially the owner. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect, and we truly felt the extra effort put in to make it a day to remember.
Thank you, Wärds, for making our wedding on of the best days of our lives!

Pleasant stay at this great location just next to small harbor of Mollösund. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome. The room was quite small and a bit noisy as it was just next to the kitchen, but well worth the fee for the two nights we stayed.

A decent place for a meal. Really nice view of the marina. They serve different fresh fish daily, but beware of the not so extensive menu, especially vegeterian options. The young waitress working there was really funny and made my day.

If you visit this charming little seaport, skip the pizza places and take a few steps from the waterline to have a nice lunch with fish or seafood. A short but agreeable menu. The very best shrimp sandwiches. Fast service if you come in the end of lunch hours and comfortable seating outdoors. Reasonably priced for Sweden at $ 25 pp including beer and coffe.|

Based upon the blonde waitress unpleasant attitude. She clearly did not want us there as guests. With no guests in the resturant there was no excuse for her to answer our questions about menu alternatives very short and apparently annoyed. Upon this presentation, we left the restaurant imediately. Therefore I cannot comment about the quality of the food.

We stayed at the Mollosunds Wardshus for two nights. It is quite expensive, but all accomodation in this area is. |The room was small but comfy and clean. The TV is at the side-wall which is uncomfortable and not many channels. WiFi works good. ||We did not eat in the restaurant, they had no table. ||Breakfast was small but high quality. Cheese, jam, bread, müsli, coffee, etc. All you need. ||The owner is very nice and gave us tips for the onward journey.

If you do not expect a super hotel experience, but just a nice and simple stay in the best location - then this is a good place to stay. Simple bedrooms, but made cozy with local attributes and artifacts. It was clean, and comfortable beds. It is all very small, so you hear people going up and down stairs etc. The restaurant was full in the evening, a good sign and the fish dishes were tastefull. We had an electricity fall out during diner, and the staff was very friendly and saved relaxed. Things like that happen in these local costal villages I assume. Terrace is lovely on a sunny day. And the view from the restaurant behind the large windows too.

We were supposed to have a romantic weekend there. But my advice: Do not stay there overnight, horrible experience. Paper-thin walls, could hear the owner and his friends downstairs talk long into the night, the owner showed no understanding for the guests' request of a good night sleep. As a result we checked out in the middle of the night, drove home and slept.
