I try not to give negative reviews but sometimes it’s a “MUST”. I’ve had nothing but issues with this company regarding payment transactions. They say it will take 2 days but in reality it’s more like 7 to 14 days. Being a new business I can’t afford to wait two weeks for payment. Im currently waiting on a payment that the customer made on December 26, 2024. It’s December 30, and I’m still not paid. Stay away from this company if you can. I will be leaving this company.

Autobooks is an easy-to-use and affordable accounting system accessed through my online banking. When I need support, they are available by phone. The customer service reps are professional and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend them for any small business owner.

I beg any of you to not use this software or company. This has affected an entire event that we had to cancel. We used their credit card option. We started taking transactions on 9/5/2024 and as of today 10/9/2024 have not received one dime. Even though we allocated what account this money was to go to correctly, they directed it to a closed account. I have contacted our vendors and they have told me their money was debited on their credit cards within two days after posting. So they have had some of our transactions for over a month. Absolutely ridiculous. This money affected our income to the point we didn't have the money needed for load in. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Run for the hills. They put my customer's payment on hold because they wanted tax returns, bank statements, invoices and on and on. There was no way I was going to give them that information so I cancelled the invoice. They told me that because it was hold (pending my personal information) and because I had cancelled it, there was no way it would go through. Shocker -- the payment showed up in my bank account along with a $400 plus transaction fee. The front line of CSRs don't know anything and the supervisors are literally at lunch. I finally spoke to a supervisor named Rosie. She did nothing -- said she would follow-up with me the next day. I never heard from her. They then took the money back from my bank account. I cancelled my account with them and hope to high heaven that I never hear from them again and that nobody on planet earth uses their services. They are a scary joke of a company.

I am a small start-up business, and my brief history with Autobooks was nothing but disruption and disappointment. This is a very strange company that acts like it genuinely does not want my business. First, they refused to provide service altogether, but agreed after a push back. Then, they refused to accept electronic payment from my customer, who eventually had to write me a check instead. All without any explanations, complete lack of transparency. I was led to understand that I just should expect payments from my customers to be declined at random. I'm out.

This business was recommended by our bank. We tried to set this up for our HVAC business. It would not allow us to accept payments. When I called I was told they could not tell me why they denied doing business with us, but they had. Was a form not filed correctly? What was the issue? Could we resolve it? The gentleman simply kept saying that they denied us and that was their right. I wish I could leave negative stars. I reported it to the bank. And I will warn everyone I know away from this place.

Horrible. One star review because it won’t let me rank this any lower. They asked for tons of personal info from me and about my customer which we provided. Held $30k for over 10 days just to cancel it. They promised phone calls and help but provided nothing. My customer reached out and they were beyond rude to them. All we are trying to do is get paid. When asked what they did with all the information we sent them we were told they don’t need to disclose it to us. Thanks for hurting small business.
