HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE
Staff have 0 knowledge of hospitality,
I understand it’s the cheapest place but still, unacceptable

They don’t have 24hours check in , only 2-5pm which is crazy,

PAID FOR 3night and for some reason I can’t be there at first (actually I was there but no one can check me in and I lost my phone so I can’t check in,

it’s cold outside I can only be in the street and then they just cancelled the whole booking without any notice, and they ask me to check the policy by my own which I checked and there isn’t even one)

Crazy crazy experience like literally crazy

Location: The hostel is situated in a quieter part of the city, accessible by tram lines 10, 6, and 5. While it's not ideal for sightseeing in Gothenburg, it's suitable for study or business trips. There's a Willy's supermarket nearby, along with plenty of pizzerias and restaurants. A swimming pool is also within a 10-minute walk.

Rooms: I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm. The room had lockers with keys, so no need for padlocks. You do need to make your own bed. The room was very clean and quiet. There are a few toilets and four showers, all of which were very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, including two ovens. The setup of the kitchen makes it a nice place to hang out, but most guests are on business trips, so you’re unlikely to meet backpackers.
On thing to mention there are no curtains at the bunkers, which you can find in other hostels.

Staff: The hostel is run by a kind Finnish man who is very helpful and has great tips on nearby shops and restaurants. He’s at the reception between 10:00 and 17:00. Outside of those hours, you can pick up your key from a key locker.

Best place you can go to in Goteborg. Well equiped, well maintained, nice service, close to public transport, great prices

Calm and quiet hostel. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely neighbourhood. Very clean and tidy in general. Friendly staff.

Be sure to get very positively surprised. Top clean and new. Not crowded rooms. Absolutely positive communication all the way and close to the city with plenty of transportation as tram and busses

Good place to stay. The room was warm and quiet. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The staff is so helpful and well mannered. I like it here so much.

We (2 adults and a 3yr old) stayed in a room with 3 bunker beds and our own bathroom. Since we booked for 3 nights, the hostel offered bedsheets and towels for free.
The hostel is easy to get to from the central station. There is a nice playground right outside of the hostel and a supermarket and some restaurants (highly recommend the vietnamese restaurant)
friendly staff. Clean room upon arrival. Common areas like kitchen and shared bathroom/shower are kept clean and neat.
They don't offer breakfast but there is free coffee and tea for guests.

Cleaner than the average hostel, modern and well maintained. The bed was fantastic, firm with a proper pillow and blanket. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in everything. Even if the bathrooms and showers are shared, everything is divided into separate, lockable little rooms for added privacy. It's very easy to travel to and from due to the active trams and buses just a short walk away. I would recommend Hisingen Hostel to anyone and everyone!
