Great trail with lovely nature. We were rewarded with a great view on top.

Beautiful view overlooking Czech and German mountain jewels. Beware of the steep climb in case of rainy weather might be very slippery.

Perfect for a day hike by adding small loops to the initial circuit.
The home stretch for the ascent to the summit is atypical.
And the view from up there is worth it.

Top Spot

We just had a perfect day here! 3 kids (4, 6, 8) hiked 10k with all of this elevation on the very well prepared hiking path. They had fun climbing the top of the mountain and with a little patience, it's not dangerous at all.

Did a lot of border patrols in the area with the US ARMY back in the middle seventies and early eighties. We also did joint patrols with the Bundesgrenshutz( BGS) and Bayern border polizei( BBP). Very enlightening.

Easy to climb, beautiful views and surrounded by extensive forests.

Such an intriguing lifetime experience!
