I call him my savior. I believe that the Lord sent him to save me! Before he became my doctor, I had two mild strokes and was diagnosed with uncontrollable hypertension. Dr Dogan was the only one who found the right medications for me and today, I'm doing well . Thats why I call him my Savior!!

My last visit was a routine follow-up which I do regularly since bypass surgery about 10 years ago. Everyone was friendly and efficient, I didn't wait long, and everything went smoothly.

Dr. Dogan listened well to what I told him. He then prescribed a new medicine that would assist me in a better way. He also asked for several test to be done to assure there was no other under lying condition.

My wait was short to see him. Dr. Dogan was thoroughly professional, prepared, knowledgeable, thorough and very patient. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Oxen M. Dogan saved my life!
I was having bad heart palpitations plus Atrial fibrillation. (A-Fib) and my other doctor (I won’t mention his name) from Mount Sinai wouldn’t take me serious!!

He used cheap heart monitors that didn’t stick or, adhere properly, it kept coming off! By the time morning came, the monitor was no longer on my chest but, in my bed laying beside me! I told him I suffer from night sweats but, we continued to do heart monitor thing at least three times and took many tests which all came back negative. Yet, he kept telling me my heart was fine despite the palpitations and A-Fib! My instinct didn’t believe him so, I searched for a new cardiologist!

I switched over to Methodist Hospital now Presbyterian Hospital and was made an appointment with Dr. Dogan. He also ordered tests and had me wear a heart monitor which was a better model and actually was strong enough to stay on! Needless to say, Dr. Dogan was able to catch the A-Fib and palpitations!

Seeing the results from my exams and heart monitor, Dr. Rogan, immediately knew something was terribly wrong! He made an appointment for me with their heart specialist Dr. Reddy. After taking several more tests, Dr. Reddy informed me I had Hypertropic cardiomyopathy (HCM).

HCM is an inherited heart condition that makes the heart muscle wall thicken! It is a serious condition and I had to get a defibrillator installed in my upper chest to keep me from dying from A-Fib (irregular heart rhythm).

I had my defibrillator installed and a week later my mother died! The situation was so stress and painful, my heart went into full A-Fib mode! I couldn’t breathe and I was terrified! Just when I thought I was going to die…The defibrillator kicked in! I got shocked three times to the heart by the defibrillator! The shocks put my heart back on the right rhythm and started beating normally again. The shocks hurt like Hell but, I was just happy to be alive!

If it wasn’t for Dr. Dogan (and Dr. Reddy), I would not be here to write this post…I would be dead!

I would highly recommend Dr. Dogan! He is a great doctor with a kind soul!

I am so happy and grateful to my Father God for bringing this beautiful man into my life!!!!

I am only 61 years young and in no way ready to die…Dr. Dogan saved my life and I will forever be grateful to him and to my God for guiding both doctors in the right direction!!!

From the front desk to the technicians I will give a 10. Always courteous and engaging. I will also give Dr. Dogan (my cardiologist) a 10+ . I am my own advocate and Dr. Dogan will be up front with me about my health and the do's and don't s.He helped me to address an issue with my pulmonary which I had not been able to take care of for almost a year. The waiting time is not long compared to most Dr's offices. Everyone is very professional and friendly.
