I had a fantastic experience with JH Moving! John and Hamlet were incredibly professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Our move was originally scheduled for 10 a.m., but they suggested starting at 10:30 a.m. to avoid the rain, which worked out perfectly—the rain stopped, and we had great weather for the rest of the day.

They handled heavy items like my sofa couch and dressers with care and efficiency. They managed to help my fiancée and me move into our new place in just six hours, which was impressive given the amount of work involved.

Competitive prices, and they were fast! We were just moving some furniture from 1st floor up a narrow winding staircase. Several other movers stated they would need 3 people and equipment and quoted us over double the prices. JH came with just two people, assessed the area with the naked eye, and proceeded to fit our large dresser up the stairs at just the right angle so nothing hit or scraped any edges! Very impressed by how efficient they are. They also helped us move some desks up and down and helped my husband lift / install the TV onto a wall stand (wall stand already mounted on the wall) as a last min request, which we would have had trouble doing ourselves

Nothing but the highest praise for Hamlet and Joao! I got so lucky finding them online when I needed my Peloton moved across town and they came same day, lugged it down to their van, transported it and carried up four flights (!) to my walk-up — all smiles, zero complaints. When I had to pack up and empty my entire place on short notice, there was no one else to call. They were there sleeves rolled up the very next day! These guys put in incredible work to support you in the most stressful situations — they really are the most professional duo I’ve ever worked with. On September 20, 2024, I hired JH Moving Co to pack, load and unload a 16-foot container from Hayward to Vista, CA. Also, they loaded and transported the rest of my belongings from Hayward to Vista, CA in their van. They were extremely responsible, punctual, packed and loaded the container carefully. I was very impressed with the care they showed and the cost of the job very reasonable.

I recently used JH Moving for my move in Berkeley and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The movers were punctual and professional and handled everything with care. They made the whole process stress-free and efficient. I highly recommend their services! They're also very upfront and reasonable with their prices.

Hired these guys on 8/27. They were very professional and made my move a very smooth one. I would definitely hire them again!!!

The lads did a great job, protecting and moving all my heavy furniture with no issues. I called them for only a couple "white glove" items (custom made walnut dresser and oak credenza) but they ended up moving all my furniture. I recommend these guys highly!
