Adventuremine Äventyrsgruvan

We did the adventure mine and sauna in October. It was such a unique experience. We found it by searching for saunas in Sweden and it seemed to be such a one of a kind place. The story of how they created the place is great - the sheer effort and time spent to build such a venue underground. Our sauna guide was so good. Her music and smells felt like another world. The 4 degrees water to swim in was challenging, but rewarding. The food was mostly local and super tasty. Their music venue/ concert hall is another thing altogether. How these guys built it all is another genius altogether.

Amazing experience, with great guides! The adventure tour was 4 hrs approximately and the via ferrata was super fun and just a little challenging (mostly due to the darkness around you rather than the actual steps), so it was a perfect balance. They provide a break in between, with some warm drinks and food. Could be worth it to mention any food restrictions you have in your booking, so maybe they could try to accomodate it (I am allergic to gluten and I could not eat the sandwiches. I did not mention it so I did not expect anything for me, and am not sure they could even if they knew, but can be worth to mention).

Fun underground adventure with knowledgeable and helpful guides. They gave our tour in English and Swedish and helped some kids who were nervous be able to complete the tricky parts safely. As a caver I was skeptical of the beauty of a man made underground mine, but the water, ice, and light combined with a lovely light and sound show made the mine quite lovely. Dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes!
