Bra Apptek med såväl kunnig ,trevlig och hjälpsam personal

I had a very bad experience at Apoteket Kulan when I tried to pick up a prescription for amlodipine from Italy. The prescription was for a chronic treatment, and according to EU regulations it should be possible to pick it up in Sweden. Despite that, the staff refused to even look at the prescription on the grounds that they did not understand Italian – even though information such as the drug name (amlodipine 5 mg), quantity and patient information are universal and clear. The staff was unprofessional and unwilling to help. One employee refused to give his name and refused any assistance, which made me both frustrated and powerless. I contacted customer service afterwards, and they confirmed that the matter was mishandled by the staff. In the end, I received help via a health center, where a doctor reviewed the prescription and confirmed that it should have been accepted directly at the pharmacy. After the help from the health center, we were able to pick up the medicine without any problems at Apotek Hjärtat ICA Maxi, where the staff handled the whole thing correctly and professionally. I expect better service and knowledge from a pharmacy, especially regarding EU regulations for prescriptions. I hope Apoteket Kulan trains its staff so that this does not happen to other customers in the future.
