I am a Spanish customer living in Sweden with my children. The other day my 14 year old son went to the pharmacy alone with a prescription. The clerk showed both the generic medicine and the more expensive one, but did not explain that one was cheaper. She sold Gaviscon for 150 kronor, even though Novalucol – which helps with the same symptoms – costs 60 kronor. When we went back to exchange it, she refused a refund. The manager, a woman with grey hair, refused to speak English even though she could. I tried to explain in Swedish but was only treated rudely. According to Swedish law, the customer should be informed about generic alternatives, but this was not done. I have attached the doctor's note and the receipt as proof. I will report this to VIO due to the offensive treatment. No customer should be treated like this. And I see that there are many reviews from dissatisfied customers about the staff; that says a lot about a pharmacy that I will never return to. Hello. Thanks for your reply. However, when I called the number, I only got through to customer service, and no one there could help me get in touch with Otto or provide any concrete solution to my issue. I have tried several times, but to no avail. Mr. Otto, you have my email address and you are welcome to contact me there.
