Bäckaskog Camping

A truly fantastic campsite. I visited just before it opened. I'll definitely be stopping here again. See the photos for a description. There's so much to discover in the surrounding area that you can easily spend a week here. The owners were very friendly and explained their concept to me in great detail. I was particularly impressed by the sanitary facilities. Almost like a hotel. It couldn't be better. Five stars more than deserved. I wish you all the best for a great first season; I'll definitely be back for a few days.

My wife and I stopped here spontaneously. Everything was still covered in snow. Despite it being the absolute off-season and us not having booked, we received a very warm welcome. We were given a short tour right away, even though the two owners were very busy preparing for the upcoming season. I must say, I was truly impressed by the enthusiasm and passion that has gone into this newly developed campsite. We were particularly drawn to the fantastic and peaceful location, which is still very central. It's wonderfully quiet and very close to nature. Right next to the sanitary block, which is completely new, we saw a moose sleeping at night; there were tracks everywhere. Unfortunately, we didn't see it ourselves, but according to the owners, several moose roam the property almost daily. Besides the meadow, the property also features a forest, a particularly beautiful stream, and a small lake. It must be a total paradise in the summer. One thing is for sure: we will definitely be back in the summer season and will stay for 5-7 days. There are so many great things to discover in the surrounding area.
