Basebo uthyrning

We had the perfect stay at Basebo, a fantastic place to stay with children. The little house in the garden, the trampoline, all the outdoor games to play with and the lake nearby with the canoe are perfect for summer days. With bad weather (which we didn’t have) there is enough to play with in the living room and on the fun sleep attic! Because Basebo is only a few houses, it’s very silent outside, you only hear animals, nothing else! The house itself is small but anything you need is there. It’s cozy and well decorated, with books written by Christian itself and a lot of books and information about Astrid Lindgren. We visited Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Bullerbyn, went for a walk in beautiful Småland, went to Knastorp Café (definitely go there!) and stayed at the lake and in the garden, which was almost enough because that was so relaxing:) Christian is very nice and helpful. We definitely want to come back one day.

If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet in idyllic nature, if you simply want to hear the wind and the surrounding animals, if you want to swim in the natural lake, enjoy the sun on a bench along the shore, and take a walk in the forest that begins right outside the front door, then this is the place for you. We also enjoyed sitting on the small terrace until the evening, enjoying the peace and quiet – everything outside is well-maintained and there are several places to sit. We slept well in the small bedroom, and the tiny house is perfectly and lovingly furnished. Christian is a pleasantly reserved, friendly, and helpful person with whom we enjoyed chatting. We stayed in the cottage for one night – while passing through – and are grateful for this wonderful experience!

Our stay in Småland was like a trip to Astrid Lindgren's world. You could actually see the horses through the front window and feel the true spirit of this magical country. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely house and we'd be happy to visit it again!
