So incredibly disappointed in the treatment of several professions here; manager, psychiatrist, two psychologists and those at the reception. Applies to the years 2021-2023. They are impersonal and if one is nice at the first meeting, it quickly changes to flames. Unprofessional treatment and poor information during investigations. No pedagogy. My daughter and I have left here every time filled with questions and cried afterwards. They are judgmental, do not see the whole family perspective and they are simply unpleasant and cannot handle criticism of them or dealing with someone's worries/anxiety. They should work with something completely different, not with people in crisis, with social or mental problems. My daughter and I are both very disappointed with the bup in Huddinge. Do not choose this bup and perhaps I think the advice is to preferably not go through bup at all, as my experience is that they do the very least they can for you and they just want you to leave. (Are they unhappy? Bad pay? Personal problems? I don't know) They are absolutely not passionate about the children, the young people / parents / patients but would rather just refer to others as soon as it doesn't follow their template. At the first visit, the second round (when we didn't get the right help the first time - or others...), a psychologist said it bluntly; "Oh no, I wanted to pass this on directly to the counselor but then I have to take it! Sigh". I can give a hundred examples of things they said to us that sit in our hearts here at home and affect our everyday lives. They were supposed to help us but instead tripped us up. People are more complex in crisis than bup's templates and rules! Unfortunately, I advise parents to seek private help from some warm and professional person who takes them and their situation seriously, instead of going here. Or is it what I suspect; psychiatry doesn't work at all? On the other hand, bup gets one star because of the counselor we later met in the fall of 2024. She was actually really good. So is there hope?
