It was time for me to convert to water-based heating - from my electric radiators. The choice was between two well-established companies in the local area. Then I heard about a newly started company, and Christopher at CF pipes was here to check. My gut told me that this was just as competent an installer as the other installers who had quoted me. And also at a good price tag. So I took the plunge. The job: 6 new water-based radiators on the entrance floor and 6 new water-based ones on the basement floor, as well as completely new pipes throughout the house (all old iron pipes were pulled out by the previous owner). Plus installation of a new air-to-water heat pump, i.e. indoor and outdoor parts. And then connecting the clockwork and getting it to work?! Phew - actually nervous! The job has been done for some time now - if I look in the rearview mirror, it was definitely a bit messy in the house for a couple of weeks. There is drilling and pipework - then electricians at the end. Summary: very satisfied with the work from CF pipes. The pipes in the basement run very close/tight to the ceiling - and via holes in the ceiling rise to the radiators on the entrance/floor level. On the entrance/floor level there are no pipes at all - more than the rise of 2 dm - which goes straight up to the radiators). In the recreation room in the basement, the pipes are cleverly masked - not visible at all. Creative work - the outdoor part in place outside the house. The indoor part went - by the hair - into the space where the old hot water heater stood - with clever modifications by the installer. Today a different house - with different electricity consumption. As a senior, I am of course also forced to look at the cost of the party. Very satisfied and glad that I hired CF plumbing. Full pot!
