First of all, there is no staff available on site. Unfortunately, they forgot to send me the access code before my arrival. After a phone call, I had to wait about 10 minutes before finally receiving the code. Standing outside a closed hostel with a paid and confirmed reservation was definitely the most frustrating part of the experience. In my opinion, communication should be improved, because this situation should not happen to guests who have already booked and paid. The room was very small. There was no wardrobe at all. When I unfolded the small table, it was tilted at an angle, so things kept sliding off. There was also no window, which meant there was no way to ventilate the room. On the positive side, it was warm and clean. There is a shared kitchen available for guests and the bathrooms are shared as well. There is also a vending machine for coffee and hot chocolate, which is a nice touch. However, in the evening I had a hot chocolate and in the morning the machine was out of cups and not working, which was disappointing. The price of the stay is quite reasonable and it is good to find accommodation at this price level in Luleå. Overall, the biggest issue for me was the lack of communication and the initial problem with access. Improving that aspect would significantly improve the guest experience.
