Vi köpte en bil hos Couchers för över ett år sedan. Redan vid köpet upptäcktes ett fel på AC:n – den fungerade bara på vänster sida. De lovade att åtgärda felet, men tyvärr kom vi aldrig överens om vilket år felet skulle fixas. …

We bought a car from Couchers over a year ago. Right when we bought it, a fault was discovered in the AC – it only worked on the left side. They promised to fix the fault, but unfortunately we never agreed on which year the fault would be fixed. The car has been at Volvo on Coucher's behalf, however, it dragged on for a while as the part was rebuilt and in the end Volvo said that it would be better for us if Coucher fixes the fault with a used part instead. Volvo told us this in February this year and Coucher took delivery of our car after the summer holidays. At that time I was planning on them fixing the fault. After almost 10 weeks they informed us that the AC had been fixed, yes that fault was fixed but all of a sudden the AC on the right side did not work. They did not consider it necessary to fix this – even though the AC worked fine on that side when we handed the car in. During the year we have heard poor excuses, blaming others and we have seen our car repeatedly being passed over. They offered to buy the car back but then for less than half the purchase price, which we of course did not accept. In the end we got tired of the whole situation. We therefore agreed to a settlement where we got a smaller part of the purchase price back, at the same time that Couchers waived all warranties on the car. The settlement is in writing where it is of course not completely truthful - of course in their favor but we ignored it. Are we satisfied? No, really not. But we realized that they would never keep their promises, and this was the least bad option. The next car purchase will definitely not be made at Couchers. Not recommended!
