First Camp Åhus - Kristianstad

Were our cabin dirty on arrival? Yes. Were there mold in the sofa and the shower? Yes. Were our cabin missing a lot of kitchen ware? Yes. Did the front door get stuck and couldn't open fully? Yes. But did our door handle fall off on one of our doors? Also yes. The beach is very nice and shallow. Åhus is in a 20min. walk distance.

At the end of July I spend a night for 600 SEK at the camping. Given that it concerned 1 person with a bike and small tent and the camping is just mediocre, it was an outrageous amount of money. The staff was friendly though, also when I confronted them with the fact that the fee was extremely high. This was by far the most expensive camping on my bikepacking holiday (camping costs in general varied in between 150 SEK and 400 SEK)

I came to Kristianstad first time and we stayed in a cottage at First Camp Åhus. It was nice. The cottage fits well for 2 people. The bathroom was clean. They provided necessary things for cooking, so convenient. We cooked and ate at the small terrace in front of the cottage. There are many beaches nearby, only 7-10 mins walk. There is also a shop in the camp that you can buy snacks, drinks and something else for camping.
