We were going to look at a car at Fröding's car dealership. We had called well in advance and said we were coming to look at a specific car. When we arrived, we were shown to the car that was parked in a fence next to the car dealership. We probably expected them to have parked the car in the car dealership since we had called in advance and said we would be coming at a specific time, but oh well. The car looked to be in fantastic condition inside and out. When we asked to test drive it, the salesperson said that the car was on summer tires, which we thought was strange since it was winter road conditions and winter tires were included. We had also called and said that we wanted to look at that particular car and assumed that the car would be on winter tires and be approved for test driving. The salesperson offered us a test drive with summer tires, despite the winter road conditions, but we declined. The salesperson ran to his boss and asked if they could change the tires. When he came back he said they could change to winter tires, but the salesman became very pushy, almost a little arrogant in his tone towards us. The salesman said that if they changed to winter tires they would have to change back to summer tires again right after we had finished driving. He started talking in a way that made us feel a bit like they were changing the tires on the car on condition that we bought it. That may not have been what the salesman meant, but that's how we perceived it and we felt it was intrusive. We felt like they were putting the problem of the car being on summer tires on us. That we were the problem when we didn't want to test drive a car with summer tires on winter roads. Not that they didn't want to change the tires. Since we couldn't promise that we would buy the car until after we had test driven it, we declined again. As we got in our car and were about to leave, the salesman came running out and said they could change the tires and that the car would be ready for a test drive within 10 minutes. We chose to decline once again, as we thought the whole situation felt unprofessional and we did not want to buy a car from such a person/company.
