Very dissatisfied – do not recommend based on my own experience I bought a car that after about 2.5 weeks showed 13 engine faults. Subsequently, faults have also been discovered in, among other things, wheel bearings, control arms, side door, glow plugs and severely deviating wheel settings with significant toe deviation, which has caused wear on the tires, control arms and contributed to a broken wheel bearing. The car has also shown faults in the exhaust system. In order to determine whether the fault messages appear again, the car must be able to be driven. The car has been forced into a workshop on several occasions and has therefore not been able to be driven. The service book raises further questions. After contacting the Tax Authority, I have been informed that the company that filled in the service book went bankrupt about two years before the car was purchased. When reviewing the service book, it appears that the mileage filled in two years ago corresponds to the mileage the car had when sold, which raises questions about the correctness and continuity of previous maintenance. According to the seller, the car is claimed to have undergone service before sale and was reportedly recently inspected. However, the defects that the car exhibits are those that are not checked during inspection, which further raises questions about the condition of the car at the time of sale. Regarding the timing belt replacement, I have paid for this myself, but have formally demanded compensation from Henriksons for all discovered defects, including the timing belt replacement. The label that was on the car does not match the timing belt that was in the car, which further raises questions about previous maintenance. According to several workshop assessments, the car is currently assessed to require repairs worth approximately SEK 60,000–70,000, possibly more. I have submitted a report to the Swedish National Board of Consumer Protection (ARN). I have also received advice from several sources to consider reporting to the police. Update December 26, 2025: I was called by a representative of the company. The conversation was perceived as unpleasant and focused solely on getting the review removed, rather than discussing the car's faults. I perceived the conversation as threatening and was informed that the company does not intend to cooperate regardless of ARN's decision. Update February 11, 2026: Several faults on the car have been updated in the text. The company Henriksen's car has so far been unable to provide any receipts, evidence or the like in the case. However, I can provide all receipts, documentation from workshop visits and audio recordings as evidence if necessary. The review will be updated if necessary.
