Hotel Skansen

A "MUST DO EXPERIENCE" EVEN FOR THE MOST JADED SPA GUEST!!!!You have to experience this hidden Swedish Spa Hotel gem located oceanfront just a short and scenic 90 minute drive from Copenhagen (Kastrup) airport. I was lucky enough to spend 4 nights here in early January and was lucky enough to have 3 of the 4 days be blue sky and sunny although very cold. Every touchpoint I had with hotel employees from checking in (Gabriel at Front Desk and Donia, Elena & Stina at Spa were stand out stars!) to housekeeping to the amazing Spa as well as Food & Beverage at both the Rooftop Pool & Bar as well as Sand the restaurant was top notch. Employees are gracious, helpful and genuinely have the hospitality spirit! Try and get Room #913, 914, 915 or #916 in the main building if you can as they have stellar views out to the ocean and the beautiful Cold Water Bath House. The cold water plunge is something to be tried as well here as the sauna is just 2 feet from the steps going down into ocean and there are separate areas for men and women so clothing is optional at sauna and plunge area. There are beautiful relaxation areas both at Rooftop in main building as well as at the Cold Bath House on pier. After 4 nights here and getting the benefit of 12 spa treatments (they use Elemis & Thalion products) I left feeling at least a decade younger in mind, body & spirit!!!!

Rented their apartment for 3 days for the new years event and staying with skansen serval times before i have to concloude the apartment is defintley not worth upgrading towards. Furnitures was poor quality, comfort and style. Kitchen was lacking basic equipment such as a pan, a sharp knife and salt/pepper.. Master bedroom was 2x 90 beds ( that is not mounted toghether ) Cleaning staff is defintley not trained to keep the apartments tidy ( marks on floor and walls room 415) During the stay we had problems with the key card and stove not functioning.. It basicly felt like a poor airbnb apartment that is placed 2min walk from the hotel itself..

First time visit this year for new year days off .🌲🎉🥳 The place look absolutely beautiful,everywhere cosy light together with great design. The restaurant menu was surprisely riching the most exquisite tastes: the presentation and taste of meals were just perfect.My extra respect and many great thanks for the chef!🧑‍🍳💪🏻👍🏻 Personally for me was extra pleasant to enjoy clean room with fresh aroma from bed sheets,extra Thank you for this🫠🫠🫠 And hotel cosmetic is highly recommended,it’s great quality and nice aroma🫠👍🏻 Sauna and roof top swimming pool experience was super great🤩👍🏻 Might be though better or more interesting breakfast…🙄 Atmosphere and impressions from big and small details deserve 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you for joyful happy time 🎉☀️
