It is an incredible place for the entire family. If you like trains it is a place to visit and travel on time. The museum offers many interactive attractions for different ages. I specifically appreciate the perfect match between old locomotives, pictures, reconstruction of the period with explained science and technology. Do not miss the two films one that tells the history of trains ins Sweden and the simulator that made you feel like you are in the train. Children and adults have a quizz that helps the learning. It is free for children and the tickets for adults is cheap. The place also has a souvenir store with real unique stuff. The coffee shop has many options gluten free.

Compact with a lot of professional knowledge. Could be better if there is introductions in English.

A great place for young and adults to enjoy history in a fun way and learn a few things. Kids loved it and we were more than happy to help them understand things. It was a little bit hassle to translate sometimes but otherwise really good. Locomotion was among the most fascinating things we observed. The concept of train station and ticket checker brings a lot of memories and its funny how kids today will never get to use these things, like an old ringer phone.
