Perfect food, plus points for a varied menu with good vegetarian options and well-chosen wines.

COULD BE BETTER - Heavily oversalted pork side (2 of 4 dishes). - Bad roe for fish, like rubber balls, very difficult to chew. (2 of 4 dishes) - No reaction from the waiter when we called back, even though she asked us what we thought on two occasions. The first time when we had started eating, one of us said it was "a little too salty". The second time after we had eaten, we mentioned both oversalted, bad roe and that she would tell the kitchen. - The waiter could not make the pork side. Had to go out to the kitchen and ask and then told us that the pork side "long-cooked" had been cooked on extra high heat, and that it was "probably" crispy. - High price in relation to quality, about 375 SEK per dish. WAS GOOD + Fantastically beautiful nature in Tällberg, a picturesque little gem with local crafts. + Nice restaurant premises, interior design, real valley feel. CONSEQUENCE Before the restaurant visit, we were so excited about the day in Tällberg that we planned Christmas celebrations at the hotel with the restaurant. That will not happen. RECOMMENDATION Train the chef and young inexperienced staff. Develop a routine for handling and turning customer complaints into a better experience than the one we had.

Very good food and very nice service. Wonderful view as a bonus
