I hired Kaldemark Bygg AB for a kitchen installation. An independent inspection found several serious defects: the countertop is incorrectly installed and destroyed, the splashback is too short and destroyed, and the remaining parts of the brand new kitchen are at risk of damage. In addition, extensive renovation of the walls is required. The company refuses to fix the defects or enter into a settlement, and instead proposed to cancel their invoice of 39,313 SEK – which means that I would have to pay an additional 51,500 SEK in addition to their invoice to get the work done correctly. The company has been reported and the case is with ARN. Not recommended.
