Great place to visit with plenty of history. Certan activities for children, such as a treasure hunt. Able to borrow tools from the reception to go out on the slag heaps to look for minerals/rocks. Guided tours around the mines with the option to also go diving inside said mines, which have been flooded for decades by now. Beautiful scenery and everything is well kept and taken care of. A great place to stop by, even if you are just passing through, as it offers a glimpse into the past with nice and welcoming staff. You can wander about the area for free, or pay to go have a guided tour, or enter all the various buildings at your own accord. Plenty for those interested in minerals and rocks as this is a truly unique location, not only nationally, but globally. Access to restrooms, café and a restaurant (self-contained). Well worth a visit.
