Mama Panda

Mama Panda in Borås is hands down one of the best Asian restaurants in town! The menu has an amazing variety — from sushi platters and poke bowls to warm comfort dishes like bibimbap, ramen, and katsu curry. I really loved the Poke Bowls – fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a perfect balance of flavors (the lax poke with chilimayo is a favorite). The Sushi is top quality with lots of different combinations, and their Smått & Gott snacks like popcorn chicken and vårrullar are perfect to share. If you’re craving something hearty, the Asiatisk Husmanskost section is fantastic – the bibimbap and orange chicken were both full of flavor. And don’t skip the Extras like homemade kimchi and edamame – they complement the dishes so well. The food feels fresh, authentic, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the portions are worth the price, and the variety means there’s something for everyone – including great vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend Mama Panda if you want delicious, modern Asian food in Borås!

Delicious Asian food in Borås! We first tried Mama Panda last week — the sushi and chicken dishes were fantastic. We’ve been back a few times since and enjoyed nearly everything on the menu. Highly recommended!
