I had a disappointing experience at this café due to the behavior of one staff member. I was sitting with a friend who had already ordered a coffee. After we sat down, a staff member approached me and asked if I was going to order something. The tone felt abrupt and uncomfortable, especially since my friend was already a paying customer and we were simply sitting together. Later, the same staff member came back and picked up my friend’s empty cup while we were still at the table and about to leave anyway. What made the situation even more frustrating was that there were several other empty cups around the café, yet we seemed to be singled out. The café also had plenty of empty seats at the time, so it wasn’t a situation where tables were needed for other customers. The interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and not very service-minded. I understand that cafés need customers to order, but the way this was handled felt humiliating and unwelcoming. I’ve never experienced being pressured like this just for sitting briefly with a friend who had already purchased something. Unfortunately, this left a very negative impression.
