WARNING FOR NAPRAPATISTS! This is a warning to all of you who have neck problems and are thinking about going to a naprapat. It can be life-threatening! A year ago I went to Muskelcentrum in Gävle to treat a stiff neck. It was an unpleasant and painful experience and immediately afterwards I felt worse. I cancelled two return visits because I felt bad and one morning I became really ill. I had had a stroke and went to hospital urgently. After the incident I have been in contact with two stroke departments in Sweden where the doctors agree that my visit to the naprapat is directly linked to my stroke. They also stated that most, perfectly healthy people have come in during the year with a stroke after a visit to a naprapat. Today a year later I still have the scars for life. High costs for healthcare, medicine and lost working time mean that it has become more difficult financially. But also that the body does not function as before. After the latest X-ray it shows that the damage is still there and will be a risk of new brain hemorrhages. Muskelcentrum immediately ducked and hid behind their insurance company to avoid taking responsibility for what they caused. In a conversation with those responsible for Muskelcentrum I was treated with mockery where I should feel sympathy for the naprapath for what he experienced in this situation. Since all naprapaths in Sweden do not belong to the region, they can easily escape their damned responsibility and compensate those they harm. If you have a stiff neck, go to the right care instead of an assessment. Going to a naprapath can be life-threatening.
