Love this forest! Probably my favorite forest in Helsingborg. Been here for several years. Started with Friskis & Svettis in 2012 on a Saturday morning, tried it out in a group together at 10 am and just kept going since then. In the northern part you can visit Brödkultur 2.0 which has super delicious fine bread, coffee, lunch and an environment to sit in both inside and outside. Along Tinkarpsbacken runs the "firefighter's loop" which is a terrain loop you can walk or run through a cozy, nice environment. Sometimes you come across artists sitting in a grove in the greenery during spring/summer and painting nice motifs. So named after the rumor that the firefighters trained by running the terrain loop. There are viewpoints along the coast, even with binoculars, looking out towards Helsingør and the Sound. There is an outdoor gym just above the stairs from down by the coast at Pålsjö Mat & Bar and Pålsjö mölla next to Järnvägen which runs through the forest. Pålsjö tennis courts are also in the area for nice outdoor tennis. Incidentally, Pålsjö mill is usually open on Saturdays sometimes and has so you can have coffee and get a guided tour inside the mill. You can follow a beautiful stream in the forest area south of the railway when you enter the forest from Tågaborg. In the middle of the forest is also the cozy Pålsjö pavilion where they offer waffles on waffle day and serve good salad, sandwiches, etc. There has also been a dog park there for a few years now when you walk the walking path from the crematorium and the nice moat outside towards Sofiero northwards. Sometimes you can see nice cows that have been released and walk and graze in the pastures along the walking paths. Absolutely wonderful and magical environment when it has snowed and is snowing, truly a winter wonderland. There are lots of nice rounds in the forest area that you can combine in endless variations, you never get tired. Via the forest you can also easily reach the Linnéaträdgården which has good food in a cozy greenhouse environment. The forest is popular for both running groups as well as orienteers and cyclists. There are also Villa Thalassa and Pålsjö Castle as nice attractions with large, nice grass areas for picnics, kubb, brännboll, barbecues, etc. A morning walk along the coast up Tinkarpsbacken then past the EkoKidz outdoor kindergarten through Pålsjö forest with the morning sun is a nice and refreshing start to the day.
