In central and northern Bohuslen it can be joined by the Kuststigen, which can take you to Norway (Kyststien). Even though you are in one of the most populated regions of Sweden, the interior of Bohuslen is the best place to find peace. Just a few kilometers from the sea, you pass through peaceful forests and over barren bogs. Parts of the route will make you feel like you are in the mountainous territory of northern Sweden, even though you are only a few kilometers from the west coast. Most of the route is easy, but some parts have elevation changes to overcome and are therefore a bit more demanding.
