I have been living in this city for a year and a half, and today I had a meeting with some friends. I stopped at this bakery to buy croissants and other sweet bread. The person who served me was not attentive at all. I asked for eight pieces, and she put them in two paper bags – imagine how they would get to my destination! I asked if they had a box, and she put everything in one and didn’t even close it; she just left it on the counter. When I got to my friends, I told them that I was discriminated against at this bakery today because I often visit it, and they don’t treat Swedes like this.
