Very friendly staff in the train, smiling and welcoming. Beautiful and lovely station with a little free exhibition inside about the history of this place and Lenin. Station Totally accessible for people with reduce mobility. Not a lot of trains. IKEA not far on the walking path to Finland (4,5 km by foot to reach Tornio Itainen station), nice cafes and konditorei to stop while passing by in Tornio village and also here in Haparanda not far from the train station.
