I had been reasonably satisfied before but was there today and they had a computer failure and couldn't access all the systems, X-rays, etc. I told the dentist that I could come back another day when all the systems are working because I don't want to pay now and then pay again to do an X-ray, for example. He then said that I can take a look now and it won't cost you anything at all this time. Then I said ok. He examined with dental floss only between the teeth and said I don't see anything wrong. I tried to explain to him that I've also tried at home and that I want a more thorough examination. He insists that there's nothing wrong. I can also see blood on the dental floss, something he doesn't seem to care about. Then he says that it will cost around 500 SEK even though he first said that it wouldn't cost anything at all today. When I bring this up at the reception they say that it was an emergency examination and therefore it would cost, which it wasn't at all. I wasn't in pain or anything and the time I was booked in wasn't an emergency time. Now I have to pay around 500 for someone to test with dental floss for less than a minute. They were all very rude and no one listened to me. Edit. 23/5 was called by the operations manager of the Folktandvården in Gottsunda and she is very unempathetic and seems to think I'm making everything up. No correction is made but everything is based on the dentist's words who already wrote in the records that he did not promise me it would be free. I have to wait just over a week and she will hear back after talking to him. And of course he will deny that he said anything about it being free. It's word for word and now I have to wait a week to find out whether I have to pay just over 500 SEK for an examination with dental floss for around a minute or not. Mostly she who talked and did not seem to listen at all but just referred to the fact that she would talk to him and get back to me. I already know that he will deny everything. So I will be 500 SEK poorer and have to pay for a new appointment because I still have the same problem with my tooth after his dental floss examination that cost me 500 SEK. I will never return to Gottsunda Folktandvård anyway. I advise others to stay away from there too. I have been dissatisfied for many years but this was the last straw.
