I wanted to make this review earlier, but here it is. :) My time at VegChef in Sweden, was absolutely incredible. It was like nothing I would’ve ever thought I would experience in my lifetime. (I mean staying in this castle was such a privilege) When I said I was interested in learning more about culinary and becoming a chef. I wouldn’t have thought that I would be flying across the world to pursue a passion/dream I’ve had for so long. Not to mention, I had just graduated high school and I wanted to travel to a new country/place where I knew absolutely no one or the language. I’m so thankful for Christian the CEO of VegChef, on giving me this chance to come. I was a little unsure in the beginning. Every day wasn’t always easy. But, I got to spend time with some of the greatest people making/learning new techniques each and every day. When we weren’t in the kitchen, it was amazing to be able to go out and do things together as well. We spent time in the forest foraging for blueberries, herbs, mushrooms, and much more. I also really enjoyed spending time playing sports (badminton, and volleyball) in the sports hall, working out in the gym, going canoeing, relaxing in the sauna, and watching some of the most amazing sunsets. Thank you VegChef and Ekebyholm. There will always be a piece of my heart there.
