I’m honestly a bit puzzled by some of the more negative reviews of Hotell Örebro/Hjalmar. Our experience was nothing short of excellent; a superb location, warm and professional staff, a spacious room, and a generous breakfast. Yes, we had to collect our key from the reception across the street, but walking 20 meters to another building hardly seems worth complaining about. Our room was surprisingly large, tastefully decorated, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and a bathroom “to die for.” Of course, I can’t speak for every room, but ours exceeded expectations. The hotel is located right on Storgatan, which means everything is literally at your fingertips. We enjoyed dinner at Ll’Amice on the ground floor – great menu, delicious food, and service that was both attentive and genuinely friendly. From now on, Hotell Örebro/Hjalmar will be our go-to choice whenever we visit Örebro.
