Stopped at the divine Gilla Cafe on our way from Oslo to Stockholm and we are so glad we did. The interiors are welcoming, cosy and beautifully curated. This, paired with the absolutely delicious homemade desserts, made it the perfect place to relax and recharge for the drive. We had traditional Swedish chocolate cake (Kladdkaka), as well as gluten-free blueberry pies with freshly whipped cream and berries. Fantastic strong coffees too, which as Australians we love! The owners are also very kind and welcoming. Added bonus is a corner store out front too which sells gorgeous homewares and fresh flowers. Cannot recommend Gilla Cafe more highly! A must visit!
