Fantastic mix of historical displays and interactive exhibits. Parents will enjoy reading the historical summaries whilst kids try on 15th century reproduction armour and costumes. The carriages are spectacular and not to be missed on the basement level.
Servers had great english-speaking skills for those with a less than functional grasp of the swedish language.
We had a fantastic stay here as a family of 5. The family rooms are a good size and have everything you need, and so lovely coming back from a long day of sightseeing to know your freshly made beds and towels are waiting. The location is ideal - right next to the ferry terminal ready to take you to Djurgarden or Slussen, but far enough from the crowds of Gamla Stan. The included buffet breakfast made for a fantastic start to every day.
