Location for sightseeing is great, location for a camp site is dreadful, it was like a backstreet carpark, we were crammed between two other motorhomes, after quite a bit of manoeuvring to get there. Drunken teenagers running through the site screaming. There is no fence to keep anyone out. Directly behind us was a wood store, and at the front all we could were other motorhomes and the bridge supports. The whole place seemed cramped and neglected. Reception staff was helpful and friendly, about the only thing good about the place. We paid 540 SEK (£41) for the pleasure and couldn’t wait to leave the next morning.
An excellent campsite, the pitches vary from amongst the trees to more open pitches, most of which look over the lake just across the road. It’s a beautiful setting. The reception were friendly and efficient, the facilities were fantastic - modern, clean and comfortable. There are also stugor which looked well maintained and inviting, probably amongst the best we’ve seen on our travels in Scandinavia. There is lots to do in the area, we only stayed one night as we were passing through the area, so sadly didn’t get to experience the train which stops just outside the site, walks in the area or visits to nearby towns and places of interest. If we ever return to this area, we will definitely stay longer.

Vi besökte området och behövde desperat lite hundmat, vi försökte hitta denna plats men dess plats på Google maps är inte korrekt. Vi tittade runt och hittade det aldrig. Vi slösade bort 45 minuter på processen.

Bra läge precis vid E4:an, och bara en kort promenad till hamnen med restauranger, och lite längre in i en trevlig stad. Ring gärna för att boka eftersom jag har hört att de nästan alltid är fulla på helgerna under sommaren. Faciliteterna …
Great location just off the E4, and just a quick walk to the harbour front for restaurants, and a little further into a lovely town. Do phone to book as I’m told they are almost always full at weekends throughout summer. Facilities clean. The Pizza restaurant is great, we had a takeaway and it was quick and delicious.
