I had a big bag of unopened dry food left over and was told that you can drop it off at this store and they will give it to a cat shelter. I am chronically ill and mostly bedridden. But I took all my strength, called first and then went to the store with the bag on a small cart. When I went into the store, I saw too few brushes that I looked at to see if I should buy at the same time as I drop off the food. Then a clerk comes and starts talking. I tell her that I am not really there to buy anything but I am going to drop off food for them. I was so happy that I still made it into town after all and happy to contribute to abandoned animals Then the clerk starts accusing me of stealing the food from them. A very unpleasant young woman stands and looks me up and down and when she sees that I look tired she starts really talking about them reporting me etc. and continues to scold me and starts demanding that I show a receipt for the food. I point out that I haven't even gone into the store and their food is at the very back of the store. Talk about the joy I had gone away, I was terribly sad As you can see, I don't recommend anyone to go in there, you never know what they'll come up with
