Very disappointing experience regarding a move-out cleaning of an 80 sqm. apartment. Most of the apartment was cleaned satisfactory, apart from the wooden floors in 2 rooms that were cleaned very superficially, without trying to rub off stains. However, during the kitchen cleaning the wooden countertop was damaged with what appeared to be some very harsh oven cleaner. There were multiple obvious patches where the cleaner had etched in the wood and dry marks from scrubbing around the sink and stove, that were clearly not there before. Upon contacting the company, they refused to accept that these damages (apart from the ones caused by regular use) were caused by them. They provided very limited help or offered to take any responsibility, instead they blamed us of not maintaining the countertop before and basically deflected the responsibility to the landlord. They were also very disagreeable with taking up the case with the insurance company since it “would take very long and is hard to proof”. No other compensation or discount was offered. Overall, very disappointing experience, where instead of having good job done with peace of mind, we ended up with extra headache and paying for the damages from our own pocket.
