I booked this venue Lion (Bar Skelleftea) for my birthday celebration a month in advance because they confirmed that they would have a Latin American party that day. I was very excited and had 23 confirmed guests who were looking forward to dancing to Latin music. I confirmed the booking again a week before, with 23 people, and also emphasized that Latin music was very important because I am from Latin America and my guests expected to dance. They confirmed again and said that a DJ would come from another place to hold the “Latin party”. I also called the same day as the event and we were still talking about the Latin party. To my great surprise, when we got there, it was a school dance instead, dancing West Coast Swing. I was then told that there was no Latin party that night. After almost praying and begging, we managed to get a salsa and a bachata. Of course I cannot recommend this place for an event. Irresponsible!
