We were hoping to find a museum about forestry and the role the Finns played in it. Upon arrival, you'll find a beautifully crafted building, with the tree trunks on the exterior giving it a real forestry feel. Once inside, the entrance fee is SEK 80 per person and you'll find a very small exhibition that's rather uninformative and would be perfectly suited for a library or town hall, for example. Furthermore, all the text is in Swedish, making it incomprehensible to many. In the second room, there's an exhibition about the use of birch wood. Here are a few old artifacts and some information about its use and application, but above all, works of art. This section would also be well-suited for a local gallery. So, for us, a real disappointment.
Campingplats kan inte hittas, enligt besökare från fe friluftsområde som var där, det finns inte heller någon campingplats i närheten.
