I’ve spent over years living in Japan, and since moving to Sweden I’ve been hunting for a proper sushi place. Honestly, most spots were a bit of a let-down, but Maguro Sushi in Malmö is something else. The fish is unbelievably fresh you can taste straight away it’s never been frozen and the flavours are bang-on authentic, just like back in Japan. I came here with my Japanese friend as well, and we both agreed it’s the real deal. Easily the best sushi I’ve had in Malmö, maybe even in all of Sweden. Absolutely recommend it to anyone keen on proper, fresh Japanese food. And the price? Mate, it’s bloody good value for the quality you’re getting you’d pay a lot more for this in Japan.
