We celebrated my wife’s birthday at Villa Soludden from February 6–8, 2026, with 24 of our closest friends who flew in from Belgium, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands. It was truly an unforgettable weekend. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Karolina, the event manager, handled everything with professionalism, warmth and calm efficiency. The waiters were attentive without ever being intrusive, and the cleaning staff kept the sauna and spa areas immaculate throughout the stay. The setting is spectacular, especially in winter. The frozen parts of the Baltic archipelago created a magical atmosphere. The sauna experience, the ice bath in the Baltic, followed by stepping out into the crisp Nordic air, was a highlight for many of us. The food was excellent across the board, with a lovely mix of Swedish specialties and beautifully prepared fish dishes (the cod and char were outstanding). The wine selection was also very well curated and perfectly suited to the meals. We had several dinners in the orangerie, which offered a warm and elegant ambiance, and the sound system for dancing and karaoke worked flawlessly – an important detail for a birthday celebration! The rooms were comfortable overall. The only downside was that three of the bedrooms have no windows, which made it slightly less fair for the guests who stayed in those rooms. That said, this was a minor issue in what was otherwise a top-tier experience. All in all, Villa Soludden delivered a weekend of outstanding quality, hospitality and atmosphere. We would highly recommend it for milestone celebrations or special gatherings.
