For a few days we have had the privilege of staying at one of Roslagen's gems, probably the best, Stridsby Gård. Here we are met by Åsa and Örjan who have opened their farm to everyone who is passionate about animals, nature, hunting and not least building maintenance. Stridsby Gård dates back to the 18th century and the manor building, which is a Hälsinge farm, has been renovated by Åsa and Örjan with a gentle hand. The color scheme, soft building details in materials that a Hälsinge farm should have, we are welcomed. We feel that if we are to get married again, take a hunter's degree, buy an apron, honey, hunt, shower in the open air or just smell life, then it will be at Stridsby Gård. On our next visit to the farm we will be met by pheasants and partridges and maybe we will meet the two elk calves again, the ones we saw at the game water. To Åsa and Örjan a big and heartfelt Thank You Annette & Benkt
