Nice food, especially considering the price, location and appearance. My partner’s father guided us here and warned it would not be to cosy, but the food would be nice. And he was right. Normally I wouldn’t go here, because of the location and the looks, but it’s a good bang for your buck! Big portions and you can even say how much you want from the side dishes/sauce etc and there is a complimentary salad buffet too. Friendly personnel too. The menu is shown on a LED screen when you come in, but keep looking, because it switches between options! 😉 We had the panbiff (sort of a big flat meatball), really nice. The chicken schnitzel my dad in law had looked nice too. The finish of the decorations could have been better and the acoustics too.
We’ve been here before, it’s one of the favorites of my dad in law, who lives here. When we came in we were told it was quite busy, with a large group there too, and serving the food might even take at least 45-50min. But the food arrived already after 25min, so no prob! 😊 Very friendly service and the food was good like the other times. Not very special, but nice Swedish comfort food 😊 We had the pasta with beef and mushrooms and fyskgryta (sort of bouillabaisse). Although I only eat white fish, the fyskgryta really looked yummy! The white wine the others had, was a combo of Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, not a very common combo. My partner normally dislikes Chardonnay, but this was a nice surprise 😊 When we got the food a guy came in with his guitar and was building up his equipment for some musical Entertainment at 22h, we didn’t stay for that.
Very nice place, been here before and they have really nice food. Especially the burger! Nice scenery, nice personnel, you should definitely try it!
Really good falafel!! Been in Uppsala before and remembered the spot. Strangely enough there are 3 Foodtrucks with falafel next to eachother, and we choose the best one 🤩 Very nice lady that sells them, I think she was the owner. I had a wrap with falafel with Haloumi, nice combo.
Wow, what a discovery!! A real gem, recommended by our AirBnB and a friend, and it was WORTH going there. We really love Indian food and have our favorite restaurants for it, back home. But this menu was so different than all the other regular Indians people know, we decided to try it. Everything was awesome, the food, the mocktails, atmosphere, service, music, Michelin star worthy we told them! Although I was glad it didn’t have a star 😉 We would almost come over from Holland especially for their food 😆
