En av de mest speciella platserna i Värmland! Det finns flera vandringsleder (även för barn) som tar dig nära alla möjliga fina platser! Besök gärna fortet i bergen, café Carl och det finns ett informationscenter på campingen.
Trevligt ställe för barn att lära sig att cykla och använda en pumptrack. Det är inte stort men du kan leka och cykla där. Det finns också en trevlig lekplats nära pumptracken och du kan koppla av och fika på ett litet torg i närheten.
One of the most special places in Värmland! There are several hicking routes (for children as well) which takes you near all kinds of nice places! Do visit the fort in the mountains, cafe Carl and there's an info center at the camping site.
Förra semestern åkte vi hit för min mammas 73-årsdag. Servitrisen/värdinnan gav oss ett varmt välkomnande och en ännu bättre service. Chapeau! Menyn är enkel men har mycket goda måltider på den! Maten är verkligen utsökt …
Last holiday we went here for my mothers 73rd birthday. The waitress/hostess gave us a warm welcome and an even better service. Chapeau! The menu is simple but has very good meals on it! The food is really delicious and very well presented. Please review the pictures, the food was great! Unfortunatly we coudn't eat outside due to the weather but i will definitly return to try that as well and enjoy the magnificant view or the area.
Det är andra gången vi besöker denna mycket trevliga plats i Värmland. Första gången vi gick under våren och nu på sommaren är det ännu bättre! Det finns flera faciliteter du kan njuta av som bastu, bubbelpool, grillstuga …
Nice camping spot that also has small houses (not airconditioned, which is a problem in summer) in case you don't like tents or campervans. There is also a possibility to rent a tent (sort of glamping). The camping is situated near a lake, which is beautifull, the water is very clean, and you're just a few kilometers out of Stockholm city center. There is public transportation (bus stop near by) but we always park the car at a shopping mall (Mörby center) and take the tunnelbana (metro) from there. The camping has a waterslide, which hasn't been open for a few years. It still isn't unfortunatly.. After corona the restaurant and bar are open again. The staff is nice and helpfull. Price and service levels are ok.
Camping isn't what is used to be. Swimmingpool and waterslide aren't open or maintained. We haven't be able to use the restaurant and bar, because they were closed (during diner time). The place is nice though. The lake is fantastic and you can have a nice walk around it.
Trevligt ställe att fika (typisk svensk tradition) eller äta lunch. Du borde definitivt prova whisky-äppelmarmeladen.
Nice cafe where you can eat tipical Swedish dishes and have a fika (Swedish tradition of drinking coffee and eating cake/sweets). The place has a museum where several different items of people that traveled to America are shown. It's nice to drop by when you have your coffee at the place.
