Vi drack bara kaffe här. Kanske en av de bästa cappuccinos vi har druckit utanför Italien. Lite dyr (55 kr) men värd det.

Vi besökte platsen vid tiotiden på en fredagsmorgon. Det fanns bara två butiker öppna vid den tidpunkten (knivmakaren och keramikern). De flesta butikerna öppnar tydligen senare på dagen, liksom de två restaurangerna. Bättre för ett besök på eftermiddagen. Fri entré. Parkering i närheten på en avgiftsbelagd parkering.

This is a review of the restaurant, not the hotel. My wife and I both had the Swedish meatball dinner. It was excellent with fresh lingonberries. Service was excellent and I was pleased to find that they not only have NA beers, but several NA wines as well.
Surprisingly beautiful park filled with sculptures and beautiful landscaping. There is also a nice play area for kids.
We came here for lunch. They only have two items on the menu for lunch: a hamburger (no fries available) or a vegetable burger. OK, a third item is a kids meal hamburger. But if you don't like burgers, don't come here for lunch. That said, it was an amazing burger and well worth the drive. We also had the cole slaw and chicken pate sides, which cost extra. You order at the outdoor kitchen/BBQ area, then they give you a pager to pick up your order in a picnic basket when it is ready. We ate in the open air greenhouse, but there were other also eating outside. An amazing lunch experience, highly recommended!
Their menu has recently changed for dinner to either offer: 1) buffet for 395 SEK, or 2) pizza. Wonderful view and setting. There is a way to drive all the way to the building if you turn left before the water park. See the attached pics of their buffet and pizza menus.
If you are looking for a B&B room in a manor house, this is not it. There are two cabins in the garden area (ground floor) and two rooms above the stable. Very difficult stairs for the latter (see pics), so make sure ypu have ground floor for mobility impaired. Or even if you have luggage for that matter. Very nice breakfast can be eaten indoors or in the garden area. Very pleasant host. No blackout shades, so bring your eye mask in summer if you are a light sensitive sleeper.
Our mains (Swedish meatballs and hamburger) were very good, but the potato sides (French fries and mashed potatoes) were not good at all. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes and the French fries tasted like they came from a bag in the freezer. Disappointing as we thought this was an organic restaurant and would have expected items to be made from scratch.
We visited at about 10a on a Friday morning. There were only two shops open at that time (the knife maker and the potter). Most shops apparently open later in the day as well as the two restaurants. Better for an afternoon visit. Free entry. Parking nearby in paid lot.
